In no particular order of incompetence:
ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND - Blase and arrogant. Mistakes are treated as "no problem mate, we'll sort it." They seem very used to dealing with errors, such as transferring £800 of mine into another account without noticing. their excuse was "well the account numbers are nearly the same". What? Like £1,000,000 is a bit like £1,000 but with a few 0's difference?
BRITTANIA BUILDING SOCIETY - Very protective towards each other. Close ranks when one of them drops a bollock, in my mate's case involving £200,000. If I made a £200,000 fuck up I'd be sacked.
YORKSHIRE BANK - Probably the worst bank in the world except Northern Rock.
O2 - £1.49 per minute overseas calling AND receiving. Gotta be kidding, you robbing bastards.
CURRY'S - should be on top actually, they are the wankest of wank. Their aftersales is pathetic. They sell shit and when you take it back they have a million excuses. Wrong Store. Lad who sold it has left. It's damaged. It's not in the box. Are you sure you got it from here? I can't read the receipt. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM CURRY'S.
BT - Where do I start? They still ring me up and ask why I left. Well, a legal letter from them to me over a £1.19 line closure bill might have something to do with it. Coupled with the fact when they had a monopoly we were ripped off something roitten. They think we don't remember these things. I always ask them if they can do calls anytime to Australia and Holland free......and they can't.
BRITISH AIRWAYS - Epitomise rip-off Britain more than any other British based scam merchent. Compare prices with ie Virgin, AirFrance KLM, Etihad or Emirates with BT...why the fuck would anyone want to fly with BA?
TISCALI - Keep taking your monthly payment even when you cancel your subscription, it's a right bastard trying to claim it back. Their call centre staff read verbatim off a procedure sheet, use no initiative and are incapable of answering the most basic of queries. "hold the line sir.....CLICK" Bastards!
EON - The worst of the worst power providers. Inept beyond belief. If you have a billing issue be prepared for a LONG LONG wait before the thick bastards sort it out. Again, with call centre staff who read from a book and can't answer basic questions..."Er, can you read your meter for me Sir"...fuck off read it yourself, what do you think I am paying for..? DO NOT USE EON.
YORKSHIRE WATER - put a meter in at my ageing parents and ask them to get down on their knees in the middle of the garden and read it for them. So I rang them up and told them to bollocks. 2 days later a meter reader arrives. 5 days later a bill comes for twice the whole of last years. Again I rant at them and they see sense.
AXA - You pay a management fee of 5% but the investment is only managed once a year. Wankers. Financial advisors my arse? You'd be better off sticking your money on Clancys Choice in the 3.30 at Newmarket.
CHURCHILL - "Oh Yes" they say. Total bollocks more like. "Challenge Churchill", they say, so I did and each time I asked them what I could claim for they said it wasn't covered. They will cheerily tell you what you can't claim for but won't say what you CAN claim for. Don't take up the Churchill challenge. As a house owner and mortgage
payer I feel insulted by some scrawny call centre kid of 19 telling me what I can and can't do. This scrawny kid will never have a house of his own, will never leave the wanking pit he lives in above his parents house and is probably
paying £25 a week board for all his washing done, meals, TV, computer etc
etc.

Hi there, I work for Yorkshire Bank,and I'd like to know why they are the worst bank in the world. (They probably are the worst bank in the world to work for so.) Mind you I did just register for the internet banking and they sent me an invalid user name and password! lol

Well, I had a bad time. Each time overdrawn even when just 17p once, was £9 charge. When I complained I was told to try not to overdraw, (supercillious bastards) or write to Head Office. The reply from Head Office was......no reply. Conclusion: they don't give a shit. Then when I withdrew all my money the manager invited me into his ivory tower and asked me why I was leaving. When I told him I was told to try not to overdraw, he wanted to know who said that to me. Big stick culture instead of simply getting it right first time. No good mate, wrong philosophy.
There were other things as well.

Sorry to here that, if you have your statements you could try to get your charges back, and you can still request them even if your account is closed. You may have to wait for the out come of the court case about charges, but its more than likely to go in the customers favour. You will have to pay a charge of £10, and request for a 'Data Subject Request'. Plus if the courts find in the customers favour you'll get your ten quid back. Or you could go to the financial obundsman servise, cause its sounds like they didn't adere to their own complaints proceedures. Sorry if this doesn't help and was boreing, but I do hope it helps to get your money back.
