What is it with legal terminology? Why do they use hamptercoreous words that we don't understand?
Thankfully the following piece of shit from my solicitors, Norfolk 'n Goode, does not apply to me:
If you enter into a staircasing exercise then this will be a separate retainer from the Norfolk 'n Goode ® remortgage, and must be set up before the remortgage can be concluded. You can retain Norfolk 'n Goode, or for your own acquire the encumbment of alternative solicitors, to deal with staircasing. If you retain Norfolk 'n Goode to do this work then you will be given a separate budget for costs and there will be a separate retainer. An indication of likely costs is contained in the budget tables set forth herein.
So...what is all that shit about? What is basically says is: if you want to buy your landlords share of your house you will have to sort it out yourself.
I found loads of grammatical errors and two spelling mistakes in my solicitors Data Protection Form and a few on the actual authorising document as well. Does that make the legal document null and void or even illegal?
You would think if Solicitors they are going to use long words that nobody understands, they'd at least spell the buggers right.
